The Tonosafe disposable prisms are a convenient, effective method of reducing the risk of cross infection between patients and eliminating the need to clean and disinfect prisms. Tonosafe are compatible with both Goldmann and Perkins tonometers.
Simple to use
Simple to use, it only takes a moment to position the prism, and the optical clarity provides a superb view of the florescent semi-circles.
Completely safe
As Tonosafe has been developed for single patient use, there is no need to disinfect the prisms. These are supplied clinically clean and are disposed of after each patient use and replaced with a fresh prism.
No conversion of results
The Tonosafe prism and holder combine to have the same mass as the
Goldmann prism, so no conversion of results is required.
