Maddox wing test A convenient hand held quick and efficient near test for heterophoria. Dissociation of the eyes is effected by means of aseptum and the deviation determined by the apparent position of the white and red arrows relative to their scales. Esophoria and exophoria are measured by the horizontal scale, the right eye seeing the white indicator arrows whilst the left eye sees the scale. Hyperphoria is measured on the red vertical scale row of figures which is seen by the left eye and the red arrow by the right eye. |
