The single LogMAR book set allows accurate LogMAR scoring of visual acuity with very young children. The eight pictures are easily recognised and named by children sometimes as young as eighteen months. They are among the first words to be acquired by children and can be named, signed or matched.
The test is designed for use at three metres (10 feet), with LogMAR sizes ranging from 1.00 (3/30 or 10/100 Snellen) to 0.00 (3/3 or 10/10 Snellen) with a choice of three or four different pictures at each of the eleven acuity levels.
